Peter I. Foster, KC

Peter is the founder and Head of Firm at Fosters, a position he has held since 1988. He is a prominent figure in Saint Lucia, serving as one of His Majesty's Counsel and the leading litigator in the country. Peter specialises in civil and commercial litigation, frequently appearing before the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Privy Council.

In addition to his litigation expertise, Peter heads the Firm's Banking and Securities, Litigation, Corporate and Transactional, and Insolvency and Restructuring portfolios. He also serves as a consultant on all litigation matters undertaken by the Firm.

Peter's extensive experience extends beyond his legal career. He has held various public offices, including High Court Judge in the British Virgin Islands and Anguilla, Magistrate in Saint Lucia, Speaker of the House of Assembly of Saint Lucia, Chairman of the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, Chairman of the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards, Mayor of Castries, and Chairman of the Castries City Council.
