Michelle Anthony-Desir

Michelle Anthony-Desir is the principal attorney and founder of Athena Law, with over 25 years of legal experience. She has honed her skills in various practice areas, handled complex transactions, and served clients globally. Her extensive background allows her to focus on key areas of law and provide a distinctive client experience.

Michelle studied law at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados, and earned a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in 1996. She has practiced law in Saint Lucia since 1996, initially with Anthony & Associates, then Chong & Co, and most recently as a founding partner of Du Boulay Anthony & Co until 2020.

Michelle's practice has evolved to focus on conveyancing, corporate, and commercial transactions. As a qualified mediator, she advocates for alternative resolution mechanisms and innovative solutions. She is an active member of the Saint Lucia Bar Association and has held leadership positions within the organisation. Michelle also serves as Honorary Consul of Sweden in Saint Lucia and has been involved with Tapion School Limited as Chairman of the Board.

In her personal life, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks on the beach, and experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen.
